MapMuse’s new Brew Finder App is an easy-to-use app that maps brewpubs and restaurants, breweries, microbreweries, home brewing supply shops and home brewing clubs. Simply enter a location or choose your current location, and an interactive map will find everything related to beer in the area and tell you everything you need to know! Up to 500 places can be displayed on the map at the same time, making it easy to find places to grab a pint, take a tour, or stock up on supplies in any city, metro area, state or region. Scroll the map and the places are automatically updated with no need to enter a new location.
In addition to viewing information for breweries, brewpubs, home brewing supply shops, home brewing clubs and more, you can add comments, ratings, and reviews, and submit photos for any place displayed on the map. Is a microbrewery missing? Can you verify that a listed restaurant has a great beer list? Do you see information that needs to be corrected or enhanced?
You can submit missing locations or updates from inside the app on your Android device by touching "Add" at the bottom of the screen or choosing the "Update or correct information" button on the information page for a specific listing. Submitted information is then reviewed by MapMuse for relevance and accuracy. You will receive updates from your fellow beer lovers every time you start the app! Alternatively, you can submit your additions and updates at www.mapmuse.com. All additions and changes on the MapMuse website are reflected on the app and vice-versa.
